Privacy Notice

All websites maintained by Indiana University are required to have a privacy notice.

Privacy notices can be generated using the University Information Policy Office’s Website Privacy Notice Generator. Please replace the default privacy notice message with the privacy notice generated by the Website Privacy Notice Generator.

Updates to your Privacy Notice in the Privacy Notice Generator will be automatically reflected on your website when using the Privacy Notice API embed code. Once you have generated your notice, copy the API embed code provided by the Privacy Notice Generator and paste it into a code chunk on your WCMS site's Privacy Notice page.

The API embed output must be wrapped in a <div> tag with the "text" class. For instance, the last line of the PHP API embed code would read as follows:

echo '<div class="text">' . $jsonObject->privacy_notice_text . '</div>';
