Prompt readers to take action

A call to action (CTA) chunk may be added to bring attention to an important link, such as at the end of a page, prompting users to take action.

A CTA chunk looks like a button, but while an individual button can be added anywhere, the CTA chunk is intended for use when adding up to three buttons for the most important actions a reader can take.

Link Label

The link label is a text-only field and the text displays on the CTA button. Either an internal or external link may be added.

Use descriptive link labels with a clear call to action and wording that is unique to that page. It is best practice to keep the label specific, but brief. We recommend shortening buttons to one line of text.

Creating a call to action chunk

Step 1

Expand to Section > Chunk. In the Type drop-down menu, choose Call to Action.

Step 2

Under Section > Chunk > Details, enter the Chunk Header, Header Level, and Position.

In Section > Chunk > Details > Link, enter the Link Label, and add either an Internal Link or an External Link.

Click the green [+] to add more links.

Step 5

To save a draft, click Save & Preview. Submit to apply changes to your page. Publish the page.
