Publishing is the process that takes the content in the WCMS and translates it into web pages. Depending on the setup, content may be published to a live site or a test site.
Unpublishing removes the file from the site, but the file is retained within the WCMS.
Navigate to the file to be published, and choose the Publish tab, or select Publish from the quick menu in the folder tree.
In the Publish window, check the boxes for destination/output.
Click Submit to publish.
To Unpublish a page, view the page to be published and select Unpublish from the ...More menu, or right click next to the page in the folder tree and select Unpublish.
Unpublish Page will open. Check the boxes next to the desired destination(s).
Click Submit to unpublish.
It is necessary to publish navigation when any of the following are performed:
Navigate to the navigation-xml page in the _xml folder in the folder tree.
Select Publish by right-clicking on the page in the folder tree, or view the page and select Publish.
The Publish Page window will open. Select the destinations and outputs and click Submit.
