Google Tag Manager is a new tool that makes it easy to add and update website tags—including conversion tracking, site analytics, remarketing, and more—with just a few clicks, and without needing to edit website code.
In other words, Tag Manager acts as a container to hold all of the tracking code for a site. The ability to add Tag Manager is included in all IU framework websites. To activate it, you need to create, configure, add your Google Analytics tracking code, and publish your Tag Manager container at the Google Tag Manager site.
Once your setup is complete, you can enter your Tag Manager code in _includes/tag-manager.html
in the WCMS by replacing the existing code.
