IU Indianapolis and IU Columbus Brand Update

Profile Page Manual Update

This update changes the campus checkbox options from IUPUI and IUPUC to IU Indianapolis and IU Columbus. See Creating a Profile for more information.

Step 1

In the Manage Site area of your site, select and edit the Page - Profile Data Definition.

Step 2

Replace the original XML with the updated XML and submit to save changes.

Step 3

Each profile page with IUPUI or IUPUC selected will show the original campus name on the rendered page--not the updated campus name. Additionally, when editing the profile page, previously selected IUPUI and IUPUC campuses will be unchecked. Repeat the following steps for each profile page to apply the updated campus names.

  1. View a profile page, making note of which campuses are selected.
  2. Edit the page.
  3. Check the necessary campuses.
  4. Submit the profile page.

Step 4

Confirm that the update works as expected by publishing all profile pages to your test/development site (Sitehost-test).

Step 5

Once the update works as expected on your test/development site, publish all profile pages to your live/production site.
