Adding Table chunk

If you are applying this update to a site that has the landmark updates or was created after February 7, 2019, please update any references to 1.x to 1.2.x.

This update adds a Table chunk. For more information on the chunk, visit the Table documentation page.

Step 1:

Go to the Manage Site area of your site and under Data Definitions, locate the data definition for Page - Standard.

Edit the data definition in XML.

Locate the chunk drop down list.

Between the Stat and Video chunks, add the following XML:

Step 2:

Scroll down in the data definition to find the slide node, around line 191.

Before the slide node, add the following XML:

Step 3:

Click Submit to save your changes.

Step 4:

To confirm the chunk has been added, when viewing the Page - Standard data definition, check the Apply Smart Field rules box at the top left. The Table chunk should now appear in the Chunk drop down.

Step 5:

To update all possible uses of the Table chunk, the data definitions for Page - Event, Page - News, Page - Profile, and Section - Attached - Standard will also need to be updated following Steps 1-4.

Note: In Section - Attached - Standard, the Table chunk XML does not include "section/" at the beginning of the path. The XML should be as follows:

Step 6:

Return to the Site Content portion of the WMCS. Navigate to the /_internal/velocity/Page/Chunks folder. When in the folder, go to the Add Content menu, select Default, then Format. Select Velocity as the Format type.

Name the format Table. In the lefthand Velocity pane, enter the following line:

Step 7:

Click Submit to save the format.

Step 8:

Navigate to /_internal/velocity/Page/Imports and click Edit.

Add the following line after Code Snippet:

#import('/_internal/velocity/Page/Chunks/Table')
