Video chunk

The video chunk allows you to add a video either from the free hosting video sites YouTube, Vimeo, and Kaltura, or upload an HTML5 file.

This is a YouTube video in the one-half size.
Here is a Kaltura example.
This is an HTML5 video example.
This is an example of a Vimeo video.

Creating a video chunk

Step 1

Expand to Section >> Chunk. In the Type drop-down menu, choose Video.

Under Section >> Chunk >> Details, select the Position. Options are Left, Right, Full, and Breakout.

Select a video Type. Permitted types are YouTube, Vimeo, Kaltura, and HTML5 (not recommended).

Step 4

For a YouTube, Kaltura, or Vimeo video, enter the URL for the video in the URL field. Do not use embedded URLs. If your video is 16:9, check the widescreen option.

Step 5

For an HTML5 video, ensure that a thumbnail image, .mp4 file, and additional video file format have been uploaded to the WCMS. Attach the files.

Add a Caption for your video.

Step 7

Enter the full transcript of the video. The transcript is for accessibility and will be vidually hidden from the page.

Submit and Publish.
